So easy! Exactly what everyone needs in this situation.

Just create a new folder on your desktop, select all your music in Expod after plugging in your iPod, and click "extract," sending the files to the desktop folder. SO GREAT.

"Worked but crashed"
Version: expod 0.7.3
Pros
Extracted my iPod songs to my laptop
Cons
Locked up my iPod, have to restore to factory settings now
Summary
I just used this and successfully extracted some songs I purchased on my iPod to my computer. However, after I disconnected my iPod it crashed and I am now restoring it to factory settings. Thank god I got my music before I had to buy it again. I don't know much about this, but I'm guessing my iPod did not like this program extracting my songs. Sometimes I really hate the way Apple does things.

"exactly what it should do"
Version: expod 0.7.3
Pros
it works. efficiently.
Cons
takes a bit to figure out. make sure your autosync is turned off & on your ipod preferences you have itunes NOT automatically open. you have to be quick in choosing the songs & the file to extract to but once you get that done... it works just fine.

"Ipod Classic does not work after using"

Cons
The next day my fully charged ipod will not turn on. It is stuck cycling through the apple logo and a black screen.
Summary
I wouldn't recommend using this as it killed my iPod.

"great FREEware"
Version: expod 0.7.3
Pros
fast, reliable and best FREEEEEEEEE
Cons
no cons. it's great!
Summary
If you are looking for a program to transfer precious music from your ipod back to your computer and you want a quality FREEware program then this is the one to go. Why pay for something when you can get it free. And, this program is better than all the Shareware (paying) ipod transfer programs anyway. A no-brainer download.
