"This is awesome!!!!!"
Version: ePrompter 2.0
Summary
I have about 10 different e-mail accounts... (that's a conservative estimate!)... and I never, ever get around to checking them all. I have like 3 hotmail accounts, and my .NET passport only lets me stay logged in as one identity at a time, and if you don't check your mail at least once per month, your account gets cancelled.... so pretty much every time I got around to checking the other 2, they had been cancelled. I also have 3 AOL accounts, long story short, it was impossible to check all my email accounts. But this program let me set up all of them, all 3 of my MSN accounts, and all 3 of my AOL accounts, and various others (POP3, webmail, etc.), and it retreived mail from all 3 accounts simultaneously!!!! It is like a miracle, I have no idea how they even do that! (On AOL, if someone signs on using a screenname that's registered to your account, you get kicked off; only 1 account per family allowed at a time... but they get all of them at the same time! I'm amazed!!!) Plus, it's soooo easy to set up. There isn't a bunch of complicated steps like there are in usual mail client programs such as Outlook, Outlook Express, or Thunderbird (I know it took me awhile to figure out how to set up my POP3 account in Outlook Express, and just forget about importing any web-based email. or AOL mail..... Even a newbie can set this up, for web-mail & AOL, all you need to know is your email address and password, it does everything else; for POP3, you need to know your email address, password, and POP3/SMTP server, (and whether or not they require authentication)... still a million times more simple than trying to figure out setting up your account in Outlook... You can assign each account a different background/font color to distinguish them, which is handy. All I can say is if you have more than one email account, this is amazing!!!! Unbelievably simple & time-saving!!! 500 stars out of 10!!!!

"ePrompter Rocks"
Version: ePrompter 2.0
Summary
I've been using the program for years and find it the simplest and easiest way to check a pile of POP and webmail accounts. It's one of my first suggestions to friends when I fix or set up their computers--without exception they like it. I've got it monitoring 10 webmail accounts right now with 15 minute updates. TaskInfo 2000 reveals it's using 0.40% of my processor time (P3-450) and 6 MB of in memory RAM. An update of all 10 accounts takes less than 30 seconds during which CPU usage rises to 20% and RAM usage to 7 MB. The program is easy to set up and well supported with FAQ and Forums.

"Bravo ePrompter!"
Version: ePrompter 2.0
Summary
I now have this excellent email notification program successfully installed on three of my computers. My circumstances put me between two different offices, plus I travel frequently in my consulting job with my laptop. I have different email accounts on all three venues due to geography and the availability of local ISPs, and I am not a “techy” in any sense of the word. I’m delighted to report that I have found ePrompter extremely easy to use. It gives me real time updates whenever new messages come into one of my accounts, no matter where I might be at that time. The notification is a simple color-coded circle with a number in it on my status bar that doesn’t intrude when I’m busy. Before, I had to either go physically to my other office, or go through an awkward process to manually check each account. I was skeptical, I admit, but it really works. When I have just a few minutes in an airport layover to check my mail, which is often the case, this saves me valuable time and helps me stay in touch. This is agreat program for executives on the go with multiple email accounts who appreciate the simplicity and reliability of a well-designed product. That it only took a few minutes to download and that the setup directions were clear and concise was an added bonus. Bravo ePrompter!
