"Total load of Trash! Avoid like the Plague! Walk away"

    July 16, 2009  |   By Englishlever

Version: eBay Turbo Lister 2 build 6.9.102.1

    Pros

    None, Zip, Zilch, Nowt, Nada!

    Cons

    OMG, where to start!
I've used TL for all my listings (around 100 per month) for around 7years now, and have been very happy with TL1 and all the updates, but TL2 is so outlandishly bad, it beggars belief!
If eBay has a death wish, this is IT

    Summary

To install TL2, you have to Uninstall TL1, ok I can live with that!
Having installed it, the programme may not (read Will Not) import your listings and Will fall over taking your database with it - that is IF it will start at all.
So make sure you back up your database And rename it as something that TL2 can Not delete - move it to another folder or drive or CD even as it Will take it out.
One install recommendation to try correct (Always) bad installs, is that you select 'Delete database' anyway - how cool is that!
Finally got TL2 installed, even got it to connect with eBay to verify my account, then when I went to check for updates, all I now get is ' Not connected to the Internet' ...... oh yeah ...........
Checked on-line for fixes and Wow, the flack getting thrown at this garbage is unbelieveable.
Go Google 'Turbolister problems' and see what happens........... there's a sizeable country's worth of Very unhappy bunnies out there!
Also, TL2 won't run under IE8 as the encryption is too high, and needs IE7 anyway to run, so you have to 'downgrade' to IE7 or at least keep it on your pc as Firefox isn't catered for, then you're faced with Windows update always nagging you to install IE8 ................. Dohhhhhh.
I rather think eBay are pushing their 'Selling Manager Pro' at £4.99 per month, because nearly all their recommendations for sellers points to this tool, Not TL2.

As for me, I'm going to have to use Auctiva or Inkfrog, life's too short to mess with TL2 anymore.
Maybe eBay should spend a few quid employing proper programmers that can actually read and write code, maybe then they'll get somewhere!

    "Utterly worthless."

    April 5, 2009  |   By jpedicord

Version: eBay Turbo Lister 2 build 6.9.102.1

    Pros

Lets youp keep copies of what you have listed using some other method that works.Other than that, no pros that I can find with this version. Earlier versions did work.

    Cons

Templates, copies and the duplicating functions are worthless if you try to use anything you actually listed, since it keeps the original listing number, which you cannot get rid of Refuses to recognize valid self-posting picture URLs.

    Summary

    Don;t bother.
