"McAfee behaves like a virus, this is NOT Malware"

Pros
Used this program for years, its simple and effective and its not Malware.
However I find when installing peoples machines that McAfee is the most troublesome and difficult program to function correctly and almost impossible to remove - there's even an official tool to help you. It's also one of the worst in real live tests of virus programs. AVOID.
doPDF is brilliant and provides fast universally readable files that are smaller and faster to e-mail anywhere in the world.

Summary
I downloaded this from Cnet. I was asked to install Bleck toolbar.
I did not accept. A box popped up asking me to cancel the install. I chose to continue the install. I chose my drive. I added Chinese.
That was it!
I tested a scanned image and it converted to PDF easily. I did have to go to my printer properties and reorientate it to landscape, though.
Cool! Saved money! -

none, but McAfee immediately caught it as a trojan and was removed

was installing and during installation McAfee removed it from my computer because was detected as a trojan. Detection Name: "Exploit-ObscuredHtml" (Trojan)under Softland\doPDF 7. Just a warning.

The quality is ok, but I'm very wary of this: it almost feels like malware to me. I will probably uninstall
EDIT: I uninstalled this. How did nobody notice the obvious malware in this? Not only did it install a browser search bar but also an "anti-phishing" advisory something or other. Stay away from this software!

Couldn't get a simple image to pdf correctly. Somehow it decided to rotate the image.
People say that it converts word documents to pdf, well, it's much easier to use word to save the document as pdf!!!Summary
Waste of time. Cannot add multiple images as pages to a pdf. One one image to a new pdf, not to mention it messes that up anyway.
Fortunately, word will let you save as pdf, that saves me ton of time and frustration and produces expected results. -
