Version: dBpoweramp Music Converter 13.2
"Too bad it couldn't do 1 simple conversion to MP3"
Pros: Unfortunately couldn't come up with any because I was not able to get the first file converted using dBPoweramp
Cons: I think it says all you need to know when you can't get the first file convereted that you try. Convert attempt from mp4 to mp3 failed w/dBPoweramp but worked with a competing program.
Summary: I really wanted to like this thing from what I had read about it but after several failed attempts to convert an mp4 file to mp3 format I gave up. I got this file converted on the first try using Easy CD-DA Extractor so there's no excuse fro dBPoweramp to fail ike it did. I should mentioni that it would allow me to convert the file if I agreed to go ahead and buy the thing. I guess that 1 month of use doesn't include converting to mp3 file format. I ket getting the error that my license was expired whihc was amazing since I just installed the thing.
Bottom line is if your app can't convert between the most common fromats (like mp4 to mp3) then you need to either re-work the app or mention in the trial that it excludes certain conversion file types.
