"Excellent Add-On to GoLive, Great Customer Service"

MenuMachine is a lifesaver, literally. I used to spend much more time building menus, and this plug-in allows me to move on and use my day doing other things. I am a mid-level designer, and my coding skills are not great, but I would think that this would be useful for great coders as well. It's not that difficult to use, and the results look great across all platforms and browsers.

I found one glitch, something to do with how bold fonts display in Firefox (it's a Firefox limitation, not something to do with MM). I emailed tech. support, and they got back to me within a day and gave me a work-around, which worked perfectly.

All in all, this is one of the best additions to GoLive that I can own. If you design menus and want to save time, you couldn't possibly do better than MenuMachine.

If a client has ever asked for drop-down menus on their website, unless you've used Big Bang's MenuMachine the request normally illicits a groan.

Long the bane of web developers everywhere (as clunky both in look, feel and programming), drop down menus requests became welcome with this excellent GoLive add on we've been using in my company for the past 4 years.

Version 2 offers an amazing number of features and configuration options, and above average stability (GoLive not being known for it's robustness!) and allows us to add a high level of managed complexity to our drop down menus that enhance user experience and ease of use.

If there's any compliant I have about this software it's that the shear number of configuration options can be a little daunting at first, but once you take some time to play around and read the excellent online manual the program's results speak for themselves.

An exceptional Mac GoLive add-on. Highly recommended to those of us still passionate Dreamweaver holdouts.

I am sorry... but MenuMachine v.2 is simply too easy!

I know I shouldn't complain or feel guilty, but making it this simple takes away from the pain and suffering that are (or, rather, I guess I now need to say "used to be") part-and-parcel of the whole fancy-menu creation process! Before the Golive-MenuMachine combination, dropdown menus were either difficult to implement, or impossible to customize. Download a freebie at the javascript sites and try. It's hell... I know because I have done it. Along comes BigBang with it's MenuMachine and suddenly this is just another thing I can whip out in GoLive with little regard to the fact that what is going on is in the same leagues as the big guys.

Well... better, actually. MenuMachine 2 allows me to control every aspect of the final product. Colours, sizing, location, graphics: they are all easily dealt with in the truely superior user interface. And, once I have created a look I like, I can even save it as a re-usable template to utilize on other projects. Not a big deal, but it does go to show the level of completeness of this implementation

Don't have time or the inclination to create your own look? Again: MenuMachine has you covered with a rich variety of ready-made solutions. Simply install, select one of these templates, fill in your relevant link info, and in literally minutes you can have a dropdown menu on your website. That' just plain wrong, don't you think? Well.. maybe you don't, but I am pretty sure the $100/hr codefreaks that spend days building these do!

There are plenty of features to this implementation that I won't take the bandwidth to describe here, with two exceptions: the new 'sitemap' feature that really rocks. Now you can generate a text-based sitemap of your Menumachine nav scheme. Accessability requirements and search engines will like this, for sure. Also, MenuMachine 2 comes with EXCELLENT docs. Given how simple this software is to operate, I am frankly amazed that the folks at BigBang found enough information to create a 79-page PDF document! And not 'plain-jane' text files, either: lots of info packed in a pleasing eye-candy wrapper. VERY professional. Again: speaks to the mindset at BigBang, I am pretty certain. They really worked hard to get everything right here, and near as I can tell, they were successful!

Simply put: if you are a Golive user who uses GL's site management features, who's time is worth more than $5/hr, and you want scripted menus that are 'best-in-class' (yes... every bit as elegant as the ones used by the million-dollar websites, and better than many of them)don't hesitate. MenuMachine is a no-brainer. Almost literally!

I have bought this the day it came out and have been using it ever since. Its fantastic and this version 2 is even more amazing. As a designer I can focus what i do best: design. It gives an incredible amount of creative freedom. The menus you can create are compatible and reliable and work with almost any browser. If it doesnt it redirects you to a sitemap automatically. This new version allows for menu effects as well as creating and editing the menus with full preview. Its well worth the money and I can recomend it totally.

Great bug fixes (esp. Safari problem) -- MUCH appreciated! Also nice to see bottom-up menus being supported as well. I agree it's too bad there isn't some sort of demo, but I haven't regretted for a second my decision to buy this based only on the reviews and how I saw it used on other sites. Absolutely excellent.
