Software alarm clock and timer which, when its alarm goes off, can crow like a rooster, display and speakyour text messages, and can command other applications to do something. The alarm can be set to go off at any time and on any day, up to a year later. The alarm can be configured to automatically set itself to go off periodically, such as each day, each couple of days, each week,or each month--you choose the amount of days. Whenever the alarm is set, Chronomenon shows how many days, hours, minutes, and seconds there are left before the alarmgoes off. Chronomenon will wake a sleeping computer when the alarm goes off so that you can hear the alarm. Chronomenon's color patterns, which give it its color and appearance, can be changed. You can choose from among thoseincluded, or you can choose from others you acquire or make. In fact, in a few days a new set of color patterns (clock colors) will beposted on this page for downloading. Chronomenon's display font can be changed to any installed in your computer. Multiple copies of Chronomenon can run at the same time, and each can have its own preference settings, which persistlaunch after launch.
What's new in this version:
- Chronomenon can launch and send commands to any of a choice of five applications at alarm time. At the click of a button, you can choose a different one of the applications, all set up to be sent the commands you previously chose for it to be sent. So, you can just click a button to have Chronomenon send commands to, say, your favorite audio CD player program, or you can click another button to have Chronomenon send commands to your favorite MP3 player instead
