Summary
Something has intervened between past iterations and this one. Will not update via Firefox or Maxthon, whereas it did fine before. Won't permit access to some sites. Resets itself in Program control options to settings user did not choose. Clean uninstall and reinstall did not cure the problems. Sadly, an excellent product has become second rate overnight.
