Version: ZoneAlarm Pro 8.02
"SLOWS COMPUTER & BROWSING DOWN / DISHONEST COMPANY"
Pros: Ability to filter Ads, cookies and Scripts easily.
Cons: (1) Once shutdown firewall, web browsing speed really picked up. Same for opening any file or program. Also slows boot up by 2 min.
Summary: Doesn't keep up with Windows Patches. Company took 4 days to send upgrades out in response to any Windows upgrade and did NOT inform users....... ZA used to be good, until Checkpoint acquired it, slow and bloated now. Had poor test results in comparison to Armor, Outpost, Comodo and Jetico at Matousec.
(2) DISHONEST CO: Firewall is designed to slow ur computer down further until u renew.
