"Excellent! Used it for many years for 'free'. Would buy"
Pros: Still the same excellent protection and all the info is great. I have only been in a position to use the free version. No $ to buy the full version, or, I would do so.
Cons: I don't have the money to buy the 'purchased' version of ZoneAlarm. I am disabled and use my computer a lot! I have not found any negative things to report at all.
Summary: Being able to control the custom settings on programs makes ZoneAlarm the exact product I need. Bob in Mesa, Arizona read more

Pros: The free version was alright I guess I used it for over 3-4 years
Cons: Trial version is owful

"SLOWS COMPUTER & BROWSING DOWN / DISHONEST COMPANY"
Pros: Ability to filter Ads, cookies and Scripts easily.
Cons: (1) Once shutdown firewall, web browsing speed really picked up. Same for opening any file or program. Also slows boot up by 2 min.
(2) DISHONEST CO: Firewall is designed to slow ur computer down further until u renew.Summary: Doesn't keep up with Windows Patches. Company took 4 days to send upgrades out in response to any Windows upgrade and did NOT inform users....... ZA used to be good, until Checkpoint acquired it, slow and bloated now. "Slow to integrate with new Operating Systems"
Pros: The best and easiest to use firewall you can get for XP 32 bit and (just last week, according to their live support) Vista and VIsta 64
Cons: According to their live support rep, they released Vista and Vista 64 compatible versions just last week and will never support x64.
Zero product tech support. All tech support is given by other users in a forum, no ZL employees give support.Summary: Get it if you have a compatible OS, but hope you don't have problems. read more
