You better seriously consider reviewing all the reviews here before downloading this mess. Crashed (2) computers. Computer would constantly freeze up. Both computers took over 7 minutes to start up after installing. I went to uninstall it, only to find out that still, both computers now take 5+ minutes to start up.
Summary
This piece of software has destroyed the reliability of what use to be my favorite firewall. It is a resource hog that you have no control over. And something is v-e-r-y fishy about this new suite. Now, both my computers have never been the same after installing, and quickly uninstalling.
DON'T DO IT. Save yourself the headache that I and countless other people now have to endure.

Sounds like maybe you had a previous AV installed that remained partially installed? They can conflict even if the other is only partially left behind. I had to download the free software AppRemover by Opswat to find the left over parts of previous AV's that I still had hanging onto my hard drive, and then to remove them. That made a world of difference. You may be surprised to find what you have left behind from old security softwares.
