Pros
I have had no problems. It runs in the background alerting me when events occur. I am somewhat amazed @ the things going on that I cannot not see that it picks up, I feel very safe and consider it essential. Its there, but not intrusive.
Cons
Occasionally I cannot download things (adobe flash) unless I disable it, but I cannot think of anything else.
Summary
Zone Alarm is made by a trusted and good solid security software company w/many great products. I have found few firewalls that are as thorough and light 'as 'Pro'. I prefer the 'Suite' (older versions-newer one is missing a thing or two).
I was out of work for 10 mo and had to search pretty far and wide to replace all the features of 'Suite' for little or nothing. 'PRO'(firewall only) was offered by the 'Cheapskate' for free so I grabbed it and got rid of whatever I was using for firewall. It sure felt good to be home again.
Though have had a love-hate relationship w/Zone Alarm for many years, their products are exceptional and diifficult to replace, however not a fan of 'Force Field' or 'Extreme Security'. Honest forthright ppl to do business with.
