Version: ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite 7.0
"Much Improved"
Pros: Zonealarm improved in every area of it's suite. The antivirus uses Kaspersky's engine for scanning and removal and Kaspersky has a solid detection rate of 99%.Antispyware is powerful because it was able to block many spyware installations and spy sites before they can reach your system. The firewall is the best, blocks hacker and intrusions and the new auto learn feature makes it easy to use and less obtrusive. Good antispam, keeps Spam out of inbox. It also provides identity protection service. So far this year only Norton and Zonealarm provide the best Internet security.
Cons: Sometimes it can leave your pc unstable and can also crash your system. It does use a lot of ram.

I wrote a "neutral" review and it ended up on page 3, so I wanted to make a point. Actually 2. Anyway, on some machines, Windows Security Center will not recognize ZoneAlarm as a fire wall or antivirus program. Since my earlier review, I have found out that Zone Labs tech support is crap. Don't even waste your time with the on-line help. Won't get you anywhere. Go strait to email support and in a few days or so, someone will get back with you. Probably won't help you out any, but you will get an email. For me? I think I'm going back to F-Secure...

you all make valid points. i am led to believe zonelabs, pushed to get this suite out since having ca's av scanner was getting them too much bad press. from what i'm hearing, zonealarm pro doesn't suffer near the problems as the suite. they should have taken more time with this. i truly don't understand why they did not at least wait it out until they could make it vista compatible. considering the release date. i think a few more months of developement would have been worth it. maybe they would have been better off jut using all the features of kaspersky's suite except for the firewall itself. just my two cents. i'd like nothing more than to to zonelabs reclaim the seat it once held, the most stable firewall on the planet. as far as i'm concernerned, software firewalls are such a mess, hardware is the way to go. expensive, but no renewal fees.

I wrote this review after the third day of Zonealarm 7 trail. But after some days, my pc started experiencing problems, such as some programs would not start, rejects some download from the Internet. After proper testing I found the Anti-Spam not so effective because it marked most of my emails as Spam.Email virus scanning missed some threats and the on-demand scanner failed to dis-infect some threats too.And as I stated in my last comment it has bugs, errors and conflicts.Final score 3.5 out of 5.
So this means Norton Internet security is the best so far.

i use zonealarm suite 7 and the anti-spam does not work.
emails are not scanned and not safe.
See the website and the commends on it for the troubles they have with email.
Kaspesky's anti-virus does not work with the email function of the programme, and no intergration with outlook.
Feel let down by Cnet.

Zonealarm has bugs, errors and conflicts that's why you couldn't use it.Zonealarm still haven't fixed these bugs in all their products. It's good that your using Antivir, which doesn't have any bugs and conflicts.I also removed Zonealarm firewall and installed Comodo firewall because it's the best.

Se4ems to be a band width or conflict error. But if you can thats great. I did not vote on your Zone Alarm reviews because of my issues. I'm using AntiVir Premium amd voted that review helpfull.
