Pros
Somehow ZoneAlarm has gone in and had my reviews scrubbed from the review section. This demonstrates just how bad this program is. They are manipulating the reviews and are trying to hide facts from the users who wish to decide what security to use. You have to asked yourself what they are trying to hide from you. I did not violate any site policy in me review of the program. I did point out that a majority of the 5 star rating where from first time reviewers who also wanted to give it a glowing a review. That is something you need to be weary of.
Cons
The biggest con for this program is that both the web installer and the offline installer has the Conduit toolbar in it. This is what I think they do not want you to know. I think the main reason they ask people to uninstall their AV before starting the download is so they no not get this alert. Conduit is a hideous program that takes a blow torch to remove from your puter. Even if you run the uninstaller, parts of it remains behind.
Summary
ZoneAlarm has sold out their loyal user and turn v10 into corporate spyware. If you download and install this program your puter will be exposed to all the corporate spyware out there.

ZoneAlarm doesn't annoy me with tons of pop-up alerts, in fact I've only seen one. ZoneAlarm is very good.

Pros
I have used a number of firewalls and have never had a problem with Zone Alarm. The Firewall plus Security Suite is also very good but the Firewall can be used alone in conjunction with another anti-virus program as it will not (in my experience) interfere with it. It is also simple to use, does not give lots of notices and will advise of updates.
Cons
None that I can think of.

If you want a firewall; this is a good one.

"Tough and very effective in removing viruses and worms"

Pros
ZoneAlarm removes my infested laptop with almost 500 viruses and worms for free.It beats other leading anti virus programs in terms of quickly cleaning my computer system, and it's easy installment.
Cons
Internet connection is fine but I couldn't "like" and comment on my Facebook's page (and to my Facebook friends page too) since my installment of ZoneAlarm

Catches nearly any attempt to takeover your system.
Cons
Latest version slows machine down to a crawl.
Summary
I used to like this firewall, but somewhere along the line it became a useless piece of crap. Forget about watching videos, ZoneAlarm is going to stop them every few seconds while it checks to make sure you're not being attacked. Goodbye Zone Alarm. I used to like you.

i using comodo, i just unistall it and install zonealarm for testing ,it's slow my internet speed ,my computer and ie. i cound not conect to vpn pptp!

comodo is much safer , faster , lighter , it's for professional and even amateur user

"Paranoid-Over cautious"

I have used this product before,quite some years back and it worked well then and it works well now.
I have this product on 2 of my laptops and have recently installed it on a work colleagues laptop and he has no problems with it.Cons
Paranoid and over cautious.
I want a product that can be installed and left to get on with the task at hand.What I don't want is something that needs baby sitting and training for 3 or more weeks just to get used to the way the operator behaves.
3 1/2 was awarded because of the inconvenience without that then it deserves a 5 without a doubt.
I have used other software without the problems this is causing.Summary
I have installed this product on my wife's laptop and she informs me that she has no internet connection and tells me it has something to do with Zone Alarm.
I have yet to check the laptop in question,but feel that it is Z.A that is causing the problem as I have only recently installed it along with Bullguard internet security suite.
The laptop I am using now has not got Z.A and it is running fine
To summarize this I will just say that it is not the product that is the problem but the user but my wife has neither the time or the know how to resolve the problem.I will have to find another product that does the same job but is less paranoid and is wife friendly. I will uninstall this and reinstall on my wife's laptop and monitor its behaviour and see if I can't rectify the problem if it only requires me spending a little time doing so then the product will remain. -
"Real Protection"

Have used for many years without a problem. Effective, useful, reliable best description. Easy for anyone to use. Tried others over the years all of which caused problems with other programs. This is hassle free
