"Zone Alarm is a Valid & Highly Effective Application"
Pros
Zone Alarm does everything it says. It offers you more individual application control even more easily than Norton Internet Security, which I use on another computer due to my wife's subscription. I have several computers and I do use Zone Alarm with Anti-virus on them. Yet, if she didn't have that subscription Zone Alarm would be my only go-to program for Firewall, Antivirus, Malware, and all other things involving the hard drive and internet applications protection. It is an outstanding product with easy graphical displays and choices. You can use the free application, which I did for years, or you can upgrade to a full featured application offering additional coverage's that Norton might offer but at a reduced price. You cannot go wrong with Zone Alarm and I have helped many people install it on their computers (they were computer beginners confused by choices and opportunities to improve their security).
