Pros: well can not really decide what the pros are..
Cons: crashed on 2 of the computers and doesn't work at all ... one computer says its running but you can not get into control panel to verify that it is running.
Summary: Had nothing but trouble with the extreme 8.0... Ran the Zone Alarm Security Suite for a year without a hitch so thought I was upgrading when it came time to renew.. Wish I hadn't upgraded. Went through help files did the steps it called for to repair... read more

Version: ZoneAlarm Extreme 8.0
Pros: Firewall-world no one, Antivirus-Kaspersky(top class), Antispyware-very good, Antispam-very effective. Browser security-unic. Performance-Average. Its good for atleast 2GB RAM. Previous versions was not good sucked and hung pc.
Cons: Startup takes long time. Its taking more memory.

Pros: easy to use but not user friendly
Cons: it's a weak scanner and it did not protect my computer from this virus that seemed to have came on somehow, now it doesn't scan properly and the program always stuffs up!
Summary: don't get zonealarm! this is a horrible virus scanner popup security alert messages are annoying they never go away even when you click allow this setting to remember or deny and the program is weak. i can't believe you have to pay for this crap! read more

Pros: Fairly effective, I suppose.
Cons: slows everything down to a crawl, nothing functions as it should; my "hi-speed" DSL is now worse than dial-up!! Links won't work. you name it, it's been a problem with this software. I am getting rid of it. And it costs alot. Money down the drain
Summary: Stinks since my computer no longer works like it should and sometimes not at all. Some software I can no longer use at all. Forget the Free PC Tuneup I got with it. That really screwed things up as well! I had to revert back to the backup. Save ... read more

"Cannot say enough abut the software GREAT!!!"
Pros: It has stopped hackers and has performed wonderfully.
Cons: None that I have come across as of yet.
Summary: I would suggested it to all my friends.
