Not a thing. Nothing. It ruined the reliability of the old ZoneAlarm

You better seriously consider reviewing all the reviews here before downloading this mess. Crashed (2) computers. Computer would constantly freeze up. Both computers took over 7 minutes to start up after installing. I went to uninstall it, only to find out that still, both computers now take 5+ minutes to start up.
Summary
This piece of software has destroyed the reliability of what use to be my favorite firewall. It is a resource hog that you have no control over. And something is v-e-r-y fishy about this new suite. Now, both my computers have never been the same after installing, and quickly uninstalling.
DON'T DO IT. Save yourself the headache that I and countless other people now have to endure. -

ok first im no novice to the software world i had been useing avast for over ten years and like others i had noticed different things going on with my computer site blocking was the least of it i have a dell i560 with 4 gigs of memory its not slow by any means but with avast installed it blocked some of my updates from microsoft and as soon as i uninstalled it they installed on reboot so made me wonder just what other updates had been blocked and avast itself updates were less than perfect so i made the move to zonealarm and im glad i did it doesnt get in the way unless its needed it works great and has stoped many invasions on my computer and works smoothly doing so check point great job keep up the great work you are doing we all need realy good security software and this is one of the best i have seen in awhile thanks again check point.

solid antivirus +firwall work very smoothly together all around great software and its time for a trustworthy company to lead the way zone alarm has been a name for years and under the new logo makes it even better kicks ass bottom line.
i also have this software on my toshiba l455laptop it works great there as well.

"I gave up on ZoneAlarm Antivirus"

I guess that the firewall is still OK.
Cons
Cannot exist with other network security products. Killed SSH tunneling.
Summary
I have been using ZoneAlarm for more years than I can remember because of the easy configurablity. I use Norton Internet Security(with the firewall turned off) for my antivirus protection. It has saved my bacon on multiple occasions. When I upgraded to ZoneAlarm Antivirus, I found out that I could no longer use SSH tunneling. When I contacted customer support, ZoneAlarm's tech said that ZoneAlarm categorically cannot co-exist with Norton. Too bad. I have no experience with the reliability of ZoneAlarm as an antivirus product, so it had to go.
I forgot to mention. I must have SSH tunneling to connect to my workplace.

vsmon service (truevector internet monitor - google it) hogged my memory and caused my processor to run way too hard.
