  "Great replacement utility for Winzip or Winrar"

  Version: ZipX 1.7 build 970

  Pros

  Supports all the latest compression methods.
  Can sign zip files which is not available anywhere alse unless you want to shell out $60 for SecureZip.

  Cons

  Would like it to create more types of archives other than ZIP and CAB files (eg 7zip, bz2 and gzip).

  Summary

  Definitely rates more than the 1 star rating that previous user rated at. I compared all the major utilities so if this deserves a 1 star rating, then WinZip and WinRar shouldn't be rated more than 2 stars!!

  Windows XP and up has the ability to zip and unzip. Why would you use anything else?
