I tried and tried but, I just couldn't get ZipWiz to work. Perhaps it's not suppose to unzip files. That's what I wanted it to do but, I could find no way to accomplish this task with ZipWiz.

This is an excellent zip utility. Fast and effective.
Even looks good - I am not one to really rate software appearance, but when you can find a good utility that is easy on the eyes - good easily appears great.
After a great deal of use with the software I would grace ZipWiz as one to keep in my long line of free software that makes computing easy again!
Cons
Considering that I was in dire need of a zip utility at the time of download, I can not give the software any negative rating.
For those of you faithful to open source, this software is a keeper less a con!

"Quick, efficient, nifty"

Pros
Works. Able to access old zip files created with WinZip and create new ones, which is all I really need. Integrated easily with my system (XP). Quick, efficient, and convenient. Many options and parameters.
Cons
Help shortcut created but help file is not included. Apparent bug when you first install. If you access ZipWiz by right-clicking a file, it doesn't work. After I accessed ZipWiz from the Start Menu, right clicking a file to zip it started to work and continued to work.
Option that appears to keep deleted zip files in an archive is on by default, but I could not find my deleted zip file anywhere (except the regular recycle bin). I hope this doesn't fill up my hard drive with hidden files. The right-click menu in the "Zip Favorites" window (neat feature,) is problematic.

The easy Download. Easy to open zip files. I Recommend this product highly.The fact that this product is Free without any
evaluation period is good too.
