Version: ZD Soft Video Recorder 2.1.1
Pros: The registered version allows unlimited recordings.
Cons: The video quality isn't that great. Worse: half the time I try to start the program, it won't load and asks me to restart my computer.

Version: ZD Soft Video Recorder 2.1.1
Cons: Does not record audio after various settings changes. A real pain to use. You are supposed to press F8 to start and stop, which sounds easy; however, when you do, you always get a teeny, tiny cross so that you set how much of the screen to record. You have to choose that frame EVERY time you press F8. Video is choppy and audio doesn't work.

"Excellent quality, few features"
Pros: Recording quality is excellent. Several codecs and ability to configure quality settings. Works well for making recordings to be edited by other programs. Customer service (Email) is fast and helpful.
Cons: Few features. Must draw size of region to be captured every time program is started. This is a real pain when making many short recordings using the same region size, such as full screen. ZD Soft Screen Recorder is a better choice. (Similar to Video recorder, plus it restarts set up exactly the same as when last used. You can select capture full screen, a window, or draw a region. Has pause.)

Pros: I really didn't like anything about this program
Cons: Oh, plenty. There's a 2 minute download minute on the demo. What's 2 minutes long anymore? They should have stated this on the description. Anything's better than this!

Pros: I tryed some software to save video on-line streaming.
ZD make it eazy, quality and nice!
