"Outstanding product"
Version: Yummy FTP 1.8.4
Pros
Very flexible and clean ftp/sftp client. Much, much nicer than Cyberduck or any others that I have tried. Well worth the money.
Cons
Idiosyncratic management of browser window widths
Summary
I have been using Yummy FTP for several years now, and cannot recommend it highly enough (10 stars). Aside from its excellent upload/download capabilities, it is the best file sync client I have found.

The best FTP/SFTP app there is continues to get even better!
Yummy is well worth the price if you want a serious, stable, feature-rich FTP/SFTP app.

I simply can NOT believe it, this software just got far yummier!
Seriously though, how many software programs do you have where 40% of what it does is in direct response to what you may NEED?? And exactly how many original software authors will get back to you in 2 days like the head Yummy? -
"User (below) is a dud..."
Version: Yummy FTP 1.7.2
Summary

Yummy FTP is the best FTP client for the Mac - Interarchy really is not.
Looks nicer? That it purely subjective. I think Yummy is spot on!
I personally find Interarchy's interface very irritating. For example, it has to reconnect *every* time you want to do anything, like even when changing between List and Column view. How brain dead is that?
For your measly $10 you got an incredibly useful and powerful tool - I would gladly have paid the $59 that your precious Interarchy cost, because Yummy is worth it in time saved alone -
"YummyFTP is a dud..."
Version: Yummy FTP 1.7.2
Summary

YummyFTP is
* ugly (nice icon and website though)
* sucks up background cycles like nobody's business
While Interarchy is sitting in the background with several windows open, looking like part of the OS, and using only .1% of CPU time, YummyFTP is jumping between 2 and 10% of CPU time.
And it looks like hell when it's open.
Bought this one at MacZot for $10. Really regret it as there is absolutely no way I want to look at this oaf or let it steal background cycles. Just wanted a backup FTP client in case Interarchy is ever flakey.
I bought YummyFTP based on the outlandish 5 star rating it has here on VersionTracker. I am very surprised at this rating.
Horrible registration process through esellerate.
This is really a beginner's FTP client for somebody who opens and then closes their FTP client not for someone who lives with SFTP open all day long. -
"best I've found - worth every penny"
Version: Yummy FTP 1.7
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I'm new to the Mac, and I needed a SFTP program that had a rock-solid
synchronize/mirror feature. I looked at every major program available,
and found them all lacking. Yummy FTP's sync is fast, supports
filters/exclusion, and lets me know exactly what it's about to do
before it does its magic. I'm extremely demanding of my software, so
it is a real relief to have a program I can trust. Thanks so much! -
"One of the best"
Version: Yummy FTP 1.7
Pros
It is one of the best FTP clients with many features.

"the new standard"
Version: Yummy FTP 1.7
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
It's not that I don't like most of the other FTP clients out there, I do, it's just that since I've found Yummy FTP it's the only one I use. Really fast. Great interface. Stable. -
"I agree: The best advanced FTP/SFTP client"
Version: Yummy FTP 1.7
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I'll repeat what I said before:
* Stable.
* One of the very few FTP apps that I have found that does SFTP without a glitch.
* Relatively fast at synchronization.
* Dual Browse" works really well (and sticks, unlike Transmit's similar feature).
* Responsive developer.
Note: I have tried every FTP/SFTP client for the Mac, and Yummy is by far my favorite. Of course I don't give a darn about spring-loaded folders. :=)
