Very user friendly. Never had a problem downloading and converting. Has several formats to choose from besides MP4.

One of the best I have used. My brother has a very expensive conversion program and this, by far, is better. Simple to use, far less steps to the process, no confusion and the results are the same as the "advanced" programs. You don't have to be a computer geek to enjoy your favorite music. And it's FREE!

Summary
I downloaded a 90 minute lecture from YouTube that was converted to MP4 so I can listen on my iPod. I think it took 3 hours on a T1 connection! But it was all there, with great quality audio. I had tried a couple of web-based downloading sites, but none of them were able to complete the conversion, probably because 90 minutes is just too long. This downloader worked slowly and steadily and got the job done.

Not sure of the complaints about the interface and speed? what do you want? It's free and it does the job. My complain is is that it really only works for vids on youtube and not other sites. but I only tried a couple. So there may be others that it works for but still not enough to mark down a full star.
