My download came with some kind of spyware/adware (no sure the term). But it forced Chrome to run in the background and pushed ads to my desktop no matter what program I was running. Norton did not recognize it so it was a pain to clean up.
Summary
I prefer to pay a few bucks and have peace of mind. Try other solutions like MelodyQuest or VideoZonk.

I foolishly installed this program without reading the user reviews. That was an epic fail. Before I knew it, the program had installed three or four shortcuts to my desktop and had erased my chrome taskbar shortcut.
This download has more trojans than the Bronze Age. -

"Had Malware problems this time.."

Used this before, then after running SpyBot, and removing various spyware and malware, this Youtube downloader stopped working.. but at that time I had no idea why.. so I downloaded a fresh YouTubeMusicDownloader. I was very careful at install and un-clicked the extra ad-ware etc buttons, and installed it. Next thing the AVG antivirus spotted amalware item.. bang, still installed itself and added toolbars, changed registry files and more crap that I don't even know what.. so now I don't trust this anymore. will have to find something better than that.. thumbs down for greedy malware spreaders.

CNET download came with a ton of malware. It changed my browser and my home page. I've never had that happen with a CNET download before. I always thought CNET was the safest place to get open source software. Not this time.

This free app does what it claims to do. I used this downloader from its version 1.0. The vendor update this software regularly to keep up with the changes of YouTube. Better than any other I have tried.

No bugs or errors were found yet.

Overall this is a great software for its FREE price. I downloaded 6 other YouTube downloading programs and nothing is as fast and easy as this one.
