Version: YouTube Downloader 2.1.6
"this is crap"
Cons: does not download, and even after you try uninstalling it (with revo uninstaller) it still sticks around.

I have encountered similar problems.But I have another cool video download software YouTube Robot which is very convenient and fast.With this you can forget about recharging your player with fresh movies and just take care of your business, while the software automatically checks your favorite video sites for new movies, downloads and transfers them to your MP4 or mobile phones. Anyway,it is a powerful tool that enables you to batch download, convert and transfer to mobile devices videos from YouTube and other similar websites.

Dude this dose work its gust that you have two make sure you have the video on youtube on a net browser when you use youtube downloader at the same time

i found it a little trying at first but that was my fault because i interpreted the instructions wrong at first but once i learned to use the interface properly it works perfect every single time i use it
it not only changes the format but stores the downloads as well so that you are in control of your downloads no matter how many you make i dont believe you gave it a fair go
you should try again i find it works perfect for me i would say that the how to use instructions are a little vague but the software is first class
