I wish it would recognize the format you convert it to so that you don't have to do it.

Have some problems with its veideo converter, I don't know why & I'm can't say that it's the Converter's problem, it maybe my problem.

I use the YouTube downloader primarily for tutorials dealing with various graphics programs that I use or videos of jazzmen of past decades. The YouTube Downloader has never failed me or disappointed me.

Cons
1. There is NO editor, as Seth Rosenblat from CNET claims.
2. It does not show progress of download, so you cannot tell how long is left.
3. It was taking forever to download a 5min clip, so i gave up.
