Everything about this company and product are bad! The product is difficult to install. the product cannot work with audio on safari. the customer service sucks. and they try to get you to pay for services with repeated full size ads on every attempt to view camera. these guys suck, the product sucks. the connection sucks. the audio sucks. i bought 3 of these things several years ago and have since replaced them with an all in 1 system that is 5 billion times better. i took the 3 astak cameras back to costo and got my money back. it shows that it works with iphone but it does not have audio on iphine. and you must pay extra to view it on ipad. stay clear of these jerks.

Don't waste your money on this. The setup and the user interface are terrible. Yoics servers are always busy and VERY SLOW. Probably 50-60% of the time I get "Can't Connect" messages. You also get disconnected very often.
After spending $200+ on the camera, you would think you would not be subjected to their constant full page ads. They try to trick you into thinking you need a $25/month subscription with these ads. To close each ad you have to click a tiny little link at the top...it is barely visible.
If you are going to buy it, go to Costco so you can return it !!! That's what I did. Better yet, find another solution! -

Nothing works. CD uselss. Onlinebrowser(s) (IE/Firefox) screens are illegible. Did online setup.I had to get WebcamXP to make camera work. Deleting all service Yoics says I have multiple cameras. I don't want to share anything but Yoics trys anyway
Summary
This is the stupidest software package possible. They take a conexant camera and put their name on it. Then add an inane name, YOICS?, and a software package to share your webcam with youtube and other socail sites? The whole attraction is to have a webcam you can see from your computer and record motion activated events. IT is not to share your security or other activities with the world at large. YOICS needs to dump their disastrous application and start all over. First and foremost should be making the camera work and allowing the user/owner to correct any problems such as YOICs insisting on the wrong IP address for the camera and insisting that you have multiple cameras (All the while harping on you to upgrade to a more expensive service when the basic one is inoperable.) Then allowing the options of sharing or uploading as steps to take rather than some vague, lurking in the background automatic threat, I mean feature...
Their site has a forum for posting Q&A but despite my passord having gotten me access to the site (for my service) it will not allow me to ask a question claiming my password is no good. This is typical of everything YOICS. I suspect at the point the packaging is simply to sell the camera and people will then find other software to make it work via google.
IT seems counter intuitive but nothing about the YOICS software makes sense. IT will let you add a camera and it says as an IP camera the location is correct but when you go to test it it says the addresss is a nonexistent one on your router despite knowing the correct one. IT will not let you change that address to fix the problem. You can delete all of your cameras (services) and then add one. Then YOICs will tell you you have multiple cameras installed and you need to upgrade your account. In the next screen it will try to show both cameras (which are one and the same since I only have one camera) and neither one works since it still trys to use the wrong address.
The summary is this is the worse implementation of a webcam I can imagine. -

When remote viewing, connection was lost approx. every 10 minutes. Had to disconnect and re-establish.
Summary
Whatever configuration changes this software made caused my system to behave erratically. Also slowed my internet connection to a crawl. Interface was confusing to an average computer user like myself, so I wasn't sure what to tweak to correct this problem. Worst part is that uninstalling did not resolve the problem. I had to use my system recovery software to go back a day. Recommend you create a system restore point if planning to try this software.
