From Three Rings Design :Yohoho Puzzle Pirates is an online game in which you play a pirate character in an ocean world. Hundreds of your fellow player pirates swarm these Isles and sea lanes. For pirates who love acronyms, Puzzle Pirates is an massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, or mmoarrrrpg.
Pirates can wander around on land and sail the 37 seas with their crew. When your pirate sails, swordfights, or navigates, the appropriate puzzle game is launched. Good puzzling thereby brings victories and accrues great fortunes to you and your fellow pirates. Thus Yohoho brings you puzzling fun in a social, piratical setting, where every puzzle game contributes to the greater story of your pirate, her crew, and the ocean world.

"Its gr8..the other reviews seem outdated don t take notice of them"
Pros: u can go in 4 types of oceans,2 r for subsribers,2 r dubloon oceans,if ur not a subscriber ur gna have to work hard to get enough money to buy clothes,swords and badges,but its gr8 fun.It seems like it can never get old but it does.it did for me.
Cons: it gets old after a while.And U hav to hav java.which consumes a great amount of space.

"A good all-around online game."
Pros: Addictive puzzles and good online system, with a lot of features.
Cons: You have to pay real money to buy online credit (Doubloon oceans) or you have to subscribe (subscriber oceans.) (Basic play is free in the doubloon oceans. You can get online credit without paying real money, contrary to popular belief. In other words, you can play as much you want for as long you want.)

"A great RPG, an even greater puzzle game"
Pros: I like the RPG aspect of the game, that along with the friends you make, and the huge amount of puzzles you can play makes Yohoho Puzzle Pirates a great download
Cons: Although there is a lot that anyone can do in the free download, the fact that you cannot do most of the things in the game without subscribing leaves you wanting more

Summary: If you like puzzles this gives you a reason to spend you time doing more of them. There are many different types of puzzles for you to master and buying ships and other items and meeting other pirates enhance the game.

"A decent game but not worth the cost"
