"YAPS improved by YAPS Viewer 1.1"
Pros: I've been using YAPS for years. I used some of the earliest versions. Each version's additional features have given us an excellent product.
I found that MSB Software Engineering now sales a YAPS Viewer 1.1 that allows you to see your passwords on the PC using the conduit YAPS file. Therefore if your Palm bites the dust, you can still get your passwords from you PC.
Cons: The YAPS Viewer 1.1 costs $9.00, not bad when you consider YAPS has been free.

"two serious problems with yaps"
Summary: 1. Cannot transfer database to another palm. My sony clie broke down, I bought a new one, restored yaps and my data, but now yaps tells me that my password is wrong and it won't let me access my data anymore. This is fatal! 2. I once added an entry ... read more

Summary: Yaps IS secure. If the memo #Yaps Data# exists the Yaps Export was used which was made to provide a readable export. Obviously the memo needs to be deleted when you're done with the data. read more
