cenet free scans are free but you have to buy the pacakage to get it work to remove or do the job!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My bookmarks are all on Yahoo bookmarks. Without any warning, Yahoo bookmarks got "upgraded" and now I cannot access my bookmarks without installing the toolbar. What is so cool about Yahoo bookmarks are exclusively on Yahoo Toolbar. It just means that you have to install this junk software.
This is crap, especially if one does not have administrator rights to install the toolbar. Honestly, I think this is just another spyware carefully repackaged to look harmless.Summary
I regretted using Yahoo bookmarks and did not do a backup before it got "upgraded".
One would be better off using Google Chrome bookmarks. -

it flashes a box upon closing that asks you to make yahoo your home page. And it wants to make yahoo your browser. And it has a little box that says' never ask me this again' and when you check it, it comes back next time anyway.
Summary
I uninstalled the Yahoo toolbar because I got tired of being harassed. But the reminder box kept coming back. So I went inot my registry and deleted anything that looked like it might be related to this reminder. I guess I missed it. I can't get rid of it. The tool bar is gone but the box keeps trying to make yahoo my browser and my homepage. Boy am i sorry. It appears every time i change from web site to another. Unless you know how to get into your registry and delete those fragments I'm referring to, don't install this thing.
