The toolbar works nicely and is simpler to adjust and edit in its newer version but more impressive is the free AS which works. I have a few weapons in the arsenal but this little ap has found and removed a few baddies others have missed..
Cons
I have had to reinstall on occasion.
Summary
Free CA anti-spy which updates is a big plus to this very useful program. It has caught a trojan, two toolbar nasties, and much adware and cookies other heavy hitters have missed. It also tells you if need a possible deep scan. The quick scan takes seconds.

I had trouble with my computer after I installed this program of freezes and lock ups and pop up error messages, on my lap top with vista, uninstalled it and havent had any problems since. Have no idea why

Customizable (add-on) is nice, most are what I want.
Cons
Anti-Spyware does not have a discontinue command on Toolbar to avoid conflicts if you wish to run another Anti-Whatever program.
Summary
Add an ID name of the running Anti Spyware on a drop-down menu and a one-click deactivation.

I love yahoo toolbar. I used it faithfully on Firefox. It works good on Windows 7.
Cons
It doesn't work on Windows 64 bit for Firfox and I can't wait till it comes. I miss using Firefox for al my browsing.

It really needs to come to Windows 64 bit.

It scans in just a few seconds, and if anything is found ,, more than cookies it does a complete scan,, Has found several trojans so I could remove them and makes it easy to know where in your regestry to go to delete from there as well,, I love it

As for the question of the speed of the scan,it's very efficient and the fastest scans from AVG is the reason why! It's only real time protection that makes the different.
Cons
None that I'm Aware of,but you must config if you want to get the full in pack of the AVG with Yahoo.
Summary
I've used so many different antivirus programs,but each AVG gets better and better.I got it on a deal from newegg.com,and I haven't been sorry at all.Once this program is setup,you truely don't have to worry about where you go on the web.Plus after config is done properly there isn't anything to be worried about.Yahoo.com has come a long way,but now that you can add AVG to the mix it's far better.

Easy enough to download and deploy and even uninstall....
Cons
problem is it failed to realized I HAD updated stuff and kept trying to get me to update it despite restarts, changing /editing etc... SO NO I am Not keeping it. It should have realized some basic things that i did update when it told me to...
Summary
If the goal was to keep up to date on my software, then it didn't meet the goal therefore it was of NO value to me. So I cannot rate it well since it didn't perform its most central/ core component...
