It enables me to chat with friends without having to keep programs like facebook open.

It doesn't save my preferences for colour of type and fonts. It goes back to default when you close it. I can't put my own icon up.

i hated the new way of useing the camera too now you have to make it a pc to pc call and cna only do one at a time it seriously sucks and why with all the ******** you have to go through to get into a chat room arent the damn bots controlled yet?

i dont like this newest version because it makes my computer crash and freeze even when its not online i have had to restart any times jsut because of yahoo 10 im uninstalling it and looking to reinstall the old version.

it seems to me with all the things you ahve to deal with to use yahoo that it isnt really worth the trouble. thats my take on all this. atleast not the messenger 10.0
