From Ikitek :Yahoo Message Archive Decoder decodes Yahoo! Messenger's Message Archive that is stored on disk. Normally, you need to log in first before you can view the Message Archive. Using this program, you can decode and view not only yours, but also OTHER's conversations, while offline, without password. It decodes up to 20 times faster than the internal viewer. It converts encoded DAT files to HTML files, supports archives of private messages, conferences and SMS. Batch decoding of entire archive directory is also available. Also includes auto-detection and date filter selection, customizable HTML or plain-text output, font styles, and smilies. You can even enable message archiving of other users on your system without logging in. It also supports recovery of Yahoo Messenger's saved password. Version: Yahoo Message Archive Decoder 3.3
"I thought archive decoder was a good start, to seeking the evidence I needed."
Pros: What I like about this product is that. It will detect different options of what's taking effect, when I am least expected.

Version: Yahoo Message Archive Decoder 3.3
"Product did not install properly. Asked for refund and get ignored"
Pros: None that I can think of. Reason? This piece of crap did not install and I can not get any decent help.
Cons: I tried to install this crap and it asked me for a password, which was NOT included with the email they sent me after I paid $ 29.00. It says you can buy the software for only $ 19.00 but in order to get the software to do what it is advertised to do, they they make you sign up for the "pro" version which is $ 29.00. After I paid, I got an email from them with a license name a reg code and a system ID, but NO password. As a result, it will not install. I have written several email messages to them for the password, and I get replies in broken English that have nothing to do with my question, so it is obvious they do not understand my situation on this software. I ask them what is the password I am supposed to enter, and they ask me crap about the system code and tell me to go edit the windows registry which I did. This did not work either. After several attempts at messing with this, I am now seeking a refund to my credit card. Since I started asking for a refund, they now do not answer my email. I guess I will never see my money. Beware folks! These people do NOT support their product and they will NOT refund your money if you get a problem. Only good news is I did not pay several hundred dollars for this crap software. I was able to find freeware by searching Google that did the same thing this crap is supposed to do My advise: STAY AWAY FROM THIS JUNK AND THE COMPANY...THEY DO NOT SUPPORT THE PRODUCT AND WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY!! They do a great disappearing act if you are into magic acts!
