It has more space than you need and is very user friendly (ie the folders) However, yahoo mail beta is like vista for windows. very pretty. Beta makes the mail experience quick, pretty, and smooth. Also when you sign in you don't have to use the whole address just your username unlike hotmail. plus there is an excellent, free Norton spy ware scanner.
Cons
The cons are that sometimes the spam guard lets things into your inbox that are obviously spam and sometimes beta fails to work properly then you have to often restart the browser.

To much advertisement and cross list advertisements. There are to many things happening within that window to make it truly a competition. Its almost like aol.mail (almost but, not quite.)
