• Great encoder - only one of its kind

  YMPEG provides same features (may be more) and excellent quality as other top notch commercial encoder at very low price. <p> <p>It is amazingly simple to use this nifty encoder. I was particularly impressed with feature like VFW(I can use directly from VirtualDub and Avisynth), KVCD and KDVD (not provided by any other encoder), Excellent video quality, and Free SDK which comes with complete sample source code. <p> <p>I must say, they have great support team. Amazingly, some of my queries were answered within an hour.

  Cons

  It is pitty that such an excellent product does not come with detailed documentation and help. Although, documentation may not required for using YMPEG encoder, it is essential for their SDK. I hope they will improve at least SDK documentation. <p> <p>(I must say, their support staff was very helpful in resolving some SDK help needed. Though it is not a replacement for better documentation)

• Powerful & Nifty Encoder

  Pros

  I downloaded without having much expectation from it. But now it replaces my earlier encoder. Fantastic quality. <p> <p>It was easier to install and work great then I expected. Its true power is getting integrated with WIndows so I can use it from any editor. <p> <p>I had some issues with premier and their support staff quickly resolved it even though I was using evaluation version. <p> <p>Overall great product at very little cost

  No much documentation. However, their prompt and helpful support staff compensates for it. I would given 4 star due to not details documentation but their support staff made to to 5 :)
