Version: XviD Video Codec 1.1.3
Pros: I needed this to watch a movie I downloaded that was had the Xvid codec. I downloaded this and the movie plays crystal clear with the Windows media Player 11 in Vista.
Cons: No problems ever with Dvix or Xvid codecs
Summary: If you got a xvid movie that does not play and the Windows Media Player is your player of choice, this will make it work. read more

Pros: I recently purchased a new laptop, and needed the codecs for Windows (VISTA) Media Player. It was exactly what i needed.

"Vista and XvoD are not compatable..."
Pros: I can't comment since I cant use this software
Cons: Just not compatable with Windows Vista..
Summary: Iam just glad I did not purchase the pro version of this software. When I purchased my new computer in June 2008, I had NO option except to get the Windows Vista. When Windows 7 is released, I'll will for sure change OS. read more
