  Could only download at ~1/3 of my connection speed. Tried my regular reader, 100%, Xnews, almost 30%, consistently.
  
  Multiple clicks or menus must be accessed to accomplish simple tasks that should be a single or double click.

  Summary

  Probably a great reader for simple Text, but not in the least for binaries.
  
  Far more effort than should be required to queue multiple files for download, only to have them download at a very slow pace.

  you're doing something wrong then cause xnews downloads binaries very well. "far more effort to download multiple files?" yeah it's rough to select them with the space bar. get real. sounds like you need to learn how to set it up
