"Indispensable"
Version: Xmarks for Chrome 0.5.65
Pros
Brings Chrome closer to Firefox functionality
Cons
Unlike Firefox version (and like IE version), doesn't sync passwords
Summary
X-Marks is one of the first extensions available for Chrome Beta. Chrome is significantly faster than Firefox, as Mozilla refuses to address the memory issues that have plagued it from day one. Although Chrome has a way to go before it approaches Firefox's level of function and customization, X-Marks pushes it forward in that direction. It's useful not merely for backup of bookmarks, but for syncing them between Chrome, Firefox and IE (each requiring its own X-Marks add-on) - tremendously useful if you use more than one browser.
One drawback - X-Marks syncs passwords only in the Firefox version, although Chrome, like FF, is capable of saving passwords. LastPass - and RoboForm for IE and Firefox - are available for that, however.
