Xilisoft AVI to DVD Converter is easy-to-use DVD authoring software and DVD Converter with high quality and fast burning speed. Pros
This is so easy, you take an avi movie and convert it to dvd, you can fit two movies on one disk. I am so in like with this program. It does however take a while, but you can take compressed files and turn them into watchable DVDs!

It is a very long and drawn ot process taking over four hours to make a dvd. Much longer than anything else I have ever used. It also doesn't allow you to minimize the program when it is running which is a real pain. They just didn't think this through at all. There are much better products on the market. I don't wasnt to spend half my live burning one dvd

I purchased and it took over 3 hours to convert a 702mb movie! I contacted them 18 hours after buying requesting a refund and they replyed with tech support. This went on for over a week - me requesting refund; them ignoring my request and giving tech support/blaming my computer. At one point they even suggested that I convert at Low Quality! - Why would I take a high quality movie and convert it in low quality? I filed a complaint with the Ontario BBB (that is were they are located) and I just received an email from the BBB that they have tried to contact Xilisoft many times and they are not responding. So I guess I am sol. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS PEICE OF CRAP SOFTWARE!!!

Save your $29.00....I have tried to convert over 6 avi files and after about 2 hours it freezes everytime.Customer service is good but the product is not.

I have been trying to convert my camera's AVI videos to DVD with several programs recommended by my workmates with no prior success... they kept giving errors, and after lots of wasted time and DVD's, I tried this trial version and with the inbuilt codecs, got a perfect copy! Thanks! Scarberry
