    "It's OK..."

    by baddownloaddetector2 on May 19, 2006

Pros: This game is OK, it's fun and cool...

Cons: Basicly, when you first start, an ogre comes up and 1-hit kills you...Then you revive in the same place and the ogre comes up and kills you again...so they didn't really do a good job

"Great game with fast paced one on one action thats hard to find in other games."

by Adoniah Rose on April 21, 2005

Pros: I've played for almost four years and have had tons of fun and met many people on-line from all over the world. What makes this game interesting for me is being a part of a game that is still in the creation progress. Although frustrating at times due to bugs or glitches, it's a fun game to explore and I think stirs the imagination simply because it's always being updated. Each player is free to be good or evil which adds to the game. People who choose be evil can pk (people kill) and because you can be attacked by another player and loose gear or items, it makes the game more real and exciting. You level you character (or characters, you're allowed 5 characters per server and there are 4 servers to create a character on). Many people are willing to help new players (newbs) get started by giving you lower level gear. Two of the servers are PK servers where other players can attack you as many times as they want and visa versa lol. The other two servers are anti-pk and you can kill only twice (these servers are best for new players to learn the game). You can also create guilds or clans. There are many clans/guilds already established. ClanX is one of the older clans which is oriented on a no pk strategy and has it's own message board. There is also a message board for all players to post or reply and is a good way to stay up on all that's going on in the game. There is also a consignment merch in game where players can sell gear/items for gold and many players enjoy trading and bartering for gear. This is a game that will be a challenge and even though I'm not by any means good with computers I managed to install and follow the instructions to keep the game updated. For those that need help, many people who use the message boards are willing to help you if they can. Good luck and enjoy!

Cons: The bad part about the game are the bugs and glitches. I've played for a long time and for me this isn't that big of a problem. Since the game is still in the process of creation, it's amazing how little this affects the game for the most part. I have lost gear due to bug abuse (some players use these to cheat and duplicate gear which can lead to a wipe of certain items). I four years I can think of 3 times where I lost gear/items due to wipes by the games creator. Most of the time you loose or gain gear through pking or pvp (people versus people). For the most part, players tend to be honest, but there are those who will scam and try to cheat you out of gear or accounts. The creator of the game does not allow people to trade accounts or buy game items for real life money, but some players do this even though it's not allowed. Like real life if it sounds to good to be true it is lol. For some the length of time it take to level up is too long, but for me it's worth it. If you're into pretty pictures and great graphics, this game is not there yet. That doesn't bother me, but for some it will. The last thing I want to mention is that this is a game in the process of being created. EJ Thayer is the single creator of this game and seldom uses ideas and input from the players. At times this can drive you a little nuts, but he's managed to create a great game with great pvp action. If you're not up for a challenge I would advise you to stay away. This is not a game for wimps.

    "incapable of reviewing"

by Angela Galish on August 1, 2007

Cons: When I'd open the game to play, as soon as I clicked on any of the options, the screen would freeze. I have to restart my computer whenever this game gets on my screen, so I uninstalled the whole thing.
