With these bi-directional links in place, you never have to enter or update your data in two places (documents and database), but can simply update one or the other from the most current version.
Linked elements can be moved between documents freely without loss of linkage.
You can use Xcatalog to update any data like pricing, product descriptions, graphics, even change versions or swap languages. If you have different pricing regions, use Xcatalog to swap the prices for each region.
What's new in this version:
This includes a new control for fractional digits in price styles, an important, if trivial, bug fix for Windows QuarkXPress 5.0 users and an important bug fix for data extraction in documents that include XPress-Tagged text and pictures.
Also note that this marks a watershed in Em's history: We're no longer supporting QuarkXPress 3.3x on either platform, nor are we supporting the 68K under Mac OS any longer. (Shed a few tears for what we've lost. ;-)
