Copy of report submited to download.com
Yesterday Norton Internet Security's (NIS) Norton Power Eraser detected "xwidget.exe" & gallery" (gallery of xwidget) as bad files. Now i have to format my PC because of destablized. I request you to only add trusted files after checking Terms & Conditions, privacy policy etc. Atleast you can give rating to apps on basis of trustworthiness. Download.com's credibility will be highly improve if you'll test, monitor, explore apps untill you are 100% sure of apps integrity, safety, reliability. I appreciate your feedback procedure & open to be contacted further if needed.
    Thanks for listening..

Snap.Do that was packaged with it is the malware. Unfortunately, you can't install one without installing the other. CNet is deliberately distributing malware these days.

I posted on the xwidget forum asking them to host their files where they won't be infected by CNet and Snap.Do. If they don't respond within a few days I will uninstall their product and never look back.

If you Google you can find how to remove Snap.Do, it is about a ten stop process. A waste of an hour due to CNet. All of their downloads are now infected with this filth.

If your heuristic -or however it's spelled- sensitivity is too high then it will read it as malware. My Avast! Pro 7 and Malwarebytes Pro both operate on my Windows 7 computer. Maybe if u check that out in your scan settings you could use it.
