Version: XP Repair Pro 3.5.5
"Last years version was better, safer!"
Pros: Although this application comes from a good software company, this version has gotten to aggressive for my liking. It has a nice, user friendly GUI and it's a simple, effective program, maybe to effective now. It's compatible with "XP" and "Vista'.
Cons: This release is to aggressive for me to use it blindly. The registry backup works and you have to remember to use it. It's better to look at every key it wants to delete even when you use the backup or it still might delete something you need. Unfortunately, they haven't kept up with some new programs like "MS office 2007" and some features in "Vista". The price is high when compared with "Tuneup Utilities 2007" It's a couple dollars more and I know it's a safe program and many additional functions.

Version: XP Repair Pro 3.5.5
"Got Outlook? Leave it alone!"
Pros: It's quick clean, simple and painless. My first impressions were that it did a good job. I have used it on a desktop and a laptop
Cons: I found that Outlook on the laptop slowed to a crawl when accessing emails and though it was simply a glitch but did not want to relate it to XPRP. Tried it on my desktop yesterday with the latest downloaded version. Same problem has just developed. Approx 15 seconds navigating between emails. I'm now in the middle of sorting it out - it did not back up the registry changes, despite the flag being set.

"I have office 2007, no problems here"
Pros: I have 4 computers running XP repair pro and have had nothing but great results. I purchased a multi-license for my business and as we expand computers, we will definitely license each of them.

"Stylez says, XP Repair Pro is the best"
Pros: Nice look, needs some more features, but the features it does have, work flawlessly and actually make real improvements to your system. The other registry tools are just smoke and mirrors and don't really do any benefit.
If you have errors on your computer, Repair pro targets them specifically. What other program does this?? none that I have seen

"PC isn't freezing at startup"
Pros: Everytime my computer turned on, the start button would show but it would take at least 3 minutes before I could click on it, or anything else. I still don't know how, or what caused it, but XP Repair Pro made it go away, and thats good enough for me.
Three other programs (I won't mention names but they are some of the top ranked programs on cnet) did absolutely nothing for my PC performance.
Cons: nothing negative to say about this software.
