There are dozens of similar Registry cleaners, but this tool's speed and simplicity should attract some users. XP Registry Cleaner's very simple interface helpfully displays all functions and information windows on a single screen. The very brief online Help file is more advertisement than instruction, but operating XP Registry Cleaner is very easy.
Users merely check any or all of 11 common Registry trouble spots to search and click a single button. Scanning is quicker than with most cleaners. All problem keys are listed as found with basic value name and data displayed. Users can either delete problem keys one at a time or all at once. Similar programs use a much easier check-box system to select keys to delete.
The app includes two other helpful Registry management functions. A powerful search function uses wildcards and range settings to quickly find select keys, values, or data. Registry Backups and restorations are easily accomplished with a simple click and save Backup function.
XP Registry Cleaner's short 10-day demo should give intermediate users the time to discover the program's value. Speed, simplicity, and a strong search function will make many users adopt this app as their daily Registry cleaner.
