"Works great on intel iMac"
Version: XMenu 1.7
Summary

Fruitmenu, in which I have invested $7, does not work on intel currently. So I sought out alternatives. This is very nice, and I also like the fact that it is not a hack. If only there was a way to get it into the Blue apple thing on the left.
Great work, and thanks for making it free. -
"Works great!!! Amazing how much I missed this..."

...feature.

I never understood why Apple took away this feature in the first place? Every thing works great so far. All sub-folders, files and aliases appear and work just fine.
The only thing I'd like to see added in future versions would be the option to pull down and switch between active applications as well. -
"Great app could be even better"
Version: XMenu 1.5
Summary

This application provides a great service to those of us who miss the old Apple Menu, and the ability to put items of our choice in that menu. But there are 2 things that could make this great program even better.
1. I would like to be able to replace the basic icons which appear in the menu bar with other icons (either the regular OS X set, or from custom sets). Replacing the icons which appear in the menu bar should be as simple as replacing the icons for any folder.
2. I would like to be able to create user-defined menus for the menu bar. -
"perfect, thanks!"

This is great. Was using Yadal for a year, but it started getting buggy and couldn't find developer to fix. this is great. light, easy and FREE. Great job guys, thank you. wish you could create more user-defined menus, i'd make a dozen. -
"Drag & drop needed"

If so, I would give 6 stars! One of the things Popup Finder (God, how many time... Was this the right name?) and other utilities had in OS9, was to can drag & drop in & out! A-Dock and other let me drag in, not out to another destination to make order like using the Finder itself. But.. great. -
"Love XMenu"

Agree that it's a simple, elegant and free way to restore the Apple menu.
Don't understand why people write neg reviews of freeware just because they don't want the function it offers. XMenu provides access to my many applications much, much faster than a dock icon would. -

"What a waste of time."
Version: XMenu 1.2

None of these stupid programs (XMenu, Fruit menu, Rocket Launcher, etc.) does any more than you can do by just draging you darn Applications folder to your Dock!!!
