One of my clients wanted me to connect to his companies polycom system and I've got an imac. I tried Parallels and Windows XP along with the Polycom software but I had no luck getting it to recognize my isight plus I hated the polycom interface. After installing Xmeeting it was as easy and calling their IP address. Video quality could be better but I'm still learning how to adjust things.

It´s for people who have their own SIP Server which is handling incoming and outgoing phonecalls. It´s easy to setup and it just works. And the best of all...it´s an universal binary app. Thanks to the developers and keep up the good work guys.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I often use OneSuite for international phone calls (phone to phone). Today, they launched a PC-to-phone app using SIP. Of course it's a windows app :-&gt; and there is no Mac version available. XMeeting saved my bacon!!! It was pretty straighforward to configure it for OneSuite and it worked like a charm. The interface isn't too bad, good address book integration: the whole thing was flawless. Very nice app indeed.

  ...xmeeting!<br />This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Tests conducted: - xmeeting with PolyCom Video Conferencing units (VSX 7000s, and Viewstation MP) = very well (some issues with placing ougoing calls to Plycom units, but on the LAN it works flawlessly with PolyCom units ! - xmeting with Windows Net Meeting = works well, incoming calls are sometinmes glitchy (calls don't pick up properly, but answer?) Outgoing calls to Net Meeting are fantastic. Hardware tested: - Macbook Pro (Intel) - iMac 20" (Intel) - G5 Dual I'd be willing to pay money for this software as-is. Its quite good with PolyCom units and the quality of the video is unbelievable. Quite good quality and motion. I think the NAT translation is the glitchy part of the software, but this is cosmetic. On the Lan it works very well. Over the web, it connects well to PolyCom units and performance is excellent. Much better than OhPhoneX. OhPhone didn't want to connect to the PolyCom units very well. If it did, you couldn't see the Mac user's cam. great software!!!!!!!! Thanks soo much for letting me participate with net Meetings, and most importantly, the PolyCom video conferencing units. . .
