    "Another version of Firefox-"

    March 6, 2011  |   By andreaborman

Firefox is a very popular browser. So much so that there are many alternative versions of it. That unlike Firefox are made only for Windows and so are faster than the original Firefox. This browser has download bit torrent feature.

Some people find it some times is a bit slower than Firefox, but this version seems to be improved.

There are many different versions of Firefox that have been made for Windows only,on the theory. That because Firefox is for all operating systems, not just Windows, that is why it is sometimes slower. And it is true that the alternative versions of Firefox do seem to be faster than the original Firefox. The many browsers out now that are Firefox alternatives are-PALE MOON.SAFEFOX,MOZILLA FLOCK, COMET BIRD, and WYZO,this browser are among the many. And I must admit that I use both Pale Moon and Safefox browsers and yes, they do seem to be faster than the original Firefox. On Windows the Firefox alternatives that are all made only for Windows do work faster than Firefox itself. Linux also has it's own Firefox alternatives,Swiftfox,Icecat, but on Linux these alternatives do not work so well. So on Linux it is best to stick with the original Firefox itself not the alternatives. But this browser Wyzo is for Windows only and is like Firefox in every way but the one difference is. That it has an added feature of being able to download bit torrent within the browser. Something that Firefox and the other alternatives do not have. Except for Comit Bird, which also has this feature. but if you do not want to use this feature you can just uninstall the Downloadhelper plug in it comes with and use Wyzo just as a browser on it's own. In the previous version of Wyzo I found that when I clicked on the browser it did not always open or was slow to open. But that issue was not present in this new updated version. So they have sorted that problem out it seems.Firefox,Flock,Safefoxand Pale Moon browser users can also add the browser plug in Downloadelper or Download IT All to their browser. To download torrent files like on Wyzo and now these 2 browser plug ins work in SeaMonkey too.So what you can get in Wyzo is not anything you cannot get in Firefox or your regular Safefox browser. But anybody who is looking for a Firefox alternative or a faster Firefox, should feel at home with this browser,Wyzo.
