Simple no-distraction interface, yet plenty of control over screen, colors, margins, font, etc. Even has typewriter sounds while typing. Being free is just icing on the cake.

It takes you away from the world and allows those who want to write just to do so without the need to leave the application. This is really excellent for those who often get distracted by there own computer!

There is no writing monkey, hey I suppose you get what you pay for

I like the way there is no spellchecker and it is just a blank screen. It is easy to copy and paste into and out of WM, and for me, it's better than using a word processor with all the bells and whistles. Helps to keep a flow of words going.
Cons
I simply cannot think of any.
Summary
It has a good range of features available on right-click, and should be considered as a tool for anyone who has trouble keeping focused in their work. I heartily recommend this programme to everyone.

Can't lose concentration while doing my work, black screen helps my photosensitive eyes against white screen color that most word processors have.

Lacks a real monkey to type my work for me xP

It's a great application that does what it's supposed to do: keeping you away from distractions.

Nothing, although it's easy to cheat on the program with Alt+Tab.
