Version: Wrestling Encore 1.6
"Fun but simple Wrestling game"
Pros: I like the simplicity of it. Though its not like these new WWE games for one guy to make this in about a years time is quite impressive not only that with how many characters, orgnaizations in the game and the alright storyline i think its worth the time.
Cons: The fact its 3 plays then your done suck and truth be told sometimes the game may crash or may possibly not even load due to download mistakes or else it may have to deal with your memory or w/e since this is a full screen game.

Version: Wrestling Encore 1.2
Pros: Totally customizable experience. From the music to the background to the mats, THQ needs to look at this game and learn what the word Customizable means.
The trial version has run smoothly as well as the demo that is available for download from his main site. No crashes as of yet. Good selection of match types and wrestlers to play around with.
There is excellent collision detection most times, as well as the ability to do moves on objects which creates more damage. Finally a game that reflects that you just DDTed someone onto a chair.
Cons: Before I start let me remind you ONE person designed, coded and finished this game. According to the maker he does this in a span of three months most times.
That said, the graphics are meh at best. There isnt a WHOLE lot of moves but there is enough here to keep it interesting. Again keep in mind one person did everything on this release. You do have to be careful about how much you customize and he states this in the documentation for the game.
The bottom line...for 15 bucks this game is a steal. Yes I ordered one and I will support this guy and his want to create indy games. His own mission statement states his belief that games should not cost more than a CD or DVD. You gotta love that.
The controls, when using the keyboard can be sluggish at times and it takes some getting used to.
That said I do love this game for what it is.

"Best wrestling game in a long time"
Pros: Where to start? you can have almost any match type from normal to cage matches, hardcore matches with barb wire and ropes on fire, its simply amazing how much detail is in this game, i cant recommend this game enough and i like it so much i have decided with the game makers permission matt dickie to help try and promote this game and take it as far as possible but we need your support too, if you played the demo or purchased the full version and would like to help support wrestling encore and empire then do a yahoo search for the xbox anchormen website and click on the message board, there you will find a forum where we have set up a topic to help support this game, its the best wrestling game for true hardcore wrestling fans, that is so much fun to play, i havent played a wrestling game this good since wwf no mercey on the n64, it tops what any wwe game has to offer in terms of match types and pure wrestling fun, if we can help support the creator of this game maybe we will see many more updates from this genius. doctor drill.
Cons: The only con i can see is that it's only on pc.
