Version: WorldWide Telescope 2.2
"Appears to be just more Microsoft crap"
Pros: The only pro was that it uninstalled quickly
Cons: A slow system crippling beast
Summary: You know, I have sort of come to expect this from Microsoft...bloated programs like this, 27.51 Mbs, that don't work. Of course we got off to a bad start...as soon as I installed it and clicked on the ol' desktop icon, I got a window saying an update was available (that's typical Microsoft also). Jeez...I shoulda known this was an old program by checking the date above (Jan. 2009).
As usual this wasn't an update...it was a whole 'nother version (another 27 Mbs). So I ignored the "update"...I mean, I already had this cnet older version installed, right?
Okay...here's the GUI...pictures across the top and bottom of planets and etc. I clicked on Earth and what did I get? A picture of a white circle...utterly featureless. Clicked to view the sun's orbit and got a white screen with two unjoined blue lines in it.
What kind of junk is this? Microsoft, that's what, and it's gone now. What a waste of time, what a waste of disk space, what a joke.
