Version: WorldWide Telescope
Pros: It makes me feel like a child again, great stuff!! If you love astronomy you will love this! Much better than Google sky.
Cons: A little buggy at the moment but nothing serious, with a couple of updates it will be perfect!

"Out of this world, Magically Astonishing!"
Pros: The interface:
This is one of the most amazing user-friendly interfaces I've seen from Microsoft. It is clean, smooth, dark and takes you right into the mood you would expect from a journey into deep space. The organization of menus and commands are spot on; you will use everything, you will want to use everything! Sliders, buttons and fonts are all bound to each other, giving you one sleek solid experience.
The features:
Although on the surface it looks so much like Google's Sky view, I will have to say that it is much more than you think! The amount of instant information and fast loads are crazy! I wasn't sure that the video we've seen weeks ago would be the real thing based on load speed and smoothness, but what do you know!? It is all real. What blew me away is the fact that they also added 3D elements into the seen, meaning that you can see Pluto if you zoom enough, and not only that but you will see it moving as time goes on! This is a tool for normal people to scientist. You can also create, modify and share some neat virtual tours in quality I wasn't also expecting, and get this: You can connect your telescope to it! You ca view the Earth, the Moon, many other planets and you can take a look at a panoramic view of Mars! There is a lot to talk about.
The value:
Although at a beta stage, I can tell you that all what any astronomy lover would like to see in such softwares is included in WWT; I mean, think about it, you are getting this goodness all for free! I cannot see any other software beating WWT when it is officially launched. Such rich features and the feeling of will crafted software is alone a special experience!
Cons: Can't say anything about cons until the product is out of Beta.
